St. Louis Location :: Associate Position

This part-time position will include taking care of fresh produce received, managing inventory, picking and packing orders for area restaurants, delivering orders to customers in timely manner, and general housekeeping at our STL warehouse.

Desired Skills

  • Ability to recognize produce standards and grade/sort fruits and vegetables.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Punctuality and good time management.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Independent performer, able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Clean driving record.

  • Ability to lift 50 lb. boxes.

  • Roles and Responsibilities

  • Receive fresh produce from local farms, inspect for quality, and store appropriately.

  • Manage inventory by assuring that the first-in, first-out system is followed.

  • Monitor inventory levels and report stocked quantities to the warehouse manager.

  • Pick and pack orders for area restaurants.

  • Deliver items to customers in a timely manner.

  • General housekeeping/cleaning of warehouse.

Desired Experience

  • Previous experience in agriculture, commercial kitchens, or fresh produce is not required but highly desirable.

Schedule

  • Approximately 20-25 hours per week, more available during peak seasons

  • Monday – During peak season, farm pickups as needed.

  • Tuesday - Friday: 8 AM start time

Compensation

  • Pay rate is $18 and up, based on experience.
